Typhoon Lagoon Changing Areas

Went to Typhoon Lagoon with my nephew (his first time!), recently and was surprised to find that the Men’s Changing room still had open locker room style changing areas. I’m just surprised that Disney of all places still functions like that when Volcano Bay has more proper changing stalls. Anyone else find this odd?
