Journey journaling : Male/33yo/215lbs

Hello all,

I thought it was a good idea to journal my recovery since not many people post anything after they start feeling better. Please scroll all the way down for the latest update.

Previous post detailing my first 4 weeks of recovery :

My initial symptoms with scores (0 = no symptoms, 10 = Please kill me symptoms):

  • Low energy/Extreme fatigue : 8/10
  • Brain fog : 7.5/10
  • Dizziness / Blurred vision : 7/10
  • Muscles that tire very quickly / Muscle Spam / Muscle pain / Muscle stiffness : 7.5/10
  • Bone and joint pain : 7.5 / 10
  • Lower and mid back pain : 8.5/10
  • Bad digestion (Diarrhea / Steatorrhea) : 8.5/10
  • Allergies : 9/10
  • Anxiety / Depression / Procrastination / Low Motivation : 7.5/10

I have felt these symptoms for the past 15+ years of my life.

Starting level : 21ng/ml tested on Dec. 12th 2024

I am scheduled to take a new Vitamin D test late February 2025.

Week 5 (Jan. 17th 2025) :

Supplementation : 10000IUs Vitamin D + Mg Glycinate 400 mg + 120Mcg K2 + Multivitamin

Diet and exercise : Diet is average and I work on a computer all day.

I did not exercice this week because I had too much work, but I had the energy to go.

Estimated VitD level on dminder : 37ng/ml

Symptoms : First week back to work after the holidays and I can focus on tasks for much longer than before. I used to not be able to focus for more than 30-45min max. Now I can go for 3 hours non stop. It is weird, I have never felt that. I haven't had the best sleep this week (I was going to bed and waking up late during the holidays, waking up at 7 AM in the past week was rough) and I still feel a lot better than before.

Also, I used to have a lot of anxiety at work, not being able to perform and feeling overwhelmed by my tasks was very stressful. So far, no stress, I go through my task list item by item without any stress. I feel more and more motivation every day, and less depression every day.

The effects of Vitamin D on my allergies are still very notable, I breathe better, especially at night, which makes me sleep much better (my stuffy nose seems to be a thing of the past, and I have had bad allergies for almost 2 decades).

Vitamin D seems to still have a regulating effect on my hunger (still down only 4 pounds).

Still no noticeable effect on my muscle pain, muscle fatigue, bone, joints and back pain...

  • Low energy/Extreme fatigue : 4/10
