Is it just me or some of the girls of this college are just ambitionless? I am a girl and in all the three years I have been here the girls I have met have disappointed me a lot. My first year roommates were all boyfriend obsessed and I used to feel quite weird seeing them. A girl used to brag about dating a 9 pointer while I felt that she could have worked hard to be a 9 pointer herself. Then as days passed I realised there are a lot of girls who can't do anything on their own without their boyfriend's help. Like a girl literally couldn't even talk to teachers directly and her boyfriend used to step up for her. Another girl who is a 9 pointer currently has 3 or 4 boyfriends who do all her da's and help her with quizzes. My friends in other colleges are much more self reliant and career focused even though they have partners. I don't mind couples but the girls seem to completely lose their own identity. Like some of them literally say that they came to this college to get away from their conservative parents and get boyfriends. I often feel hopeless seeing them. Edit: I am NOT saying about all girls. There are lots of girls who deserve respect. I am just saying about the girls who behave like this because.
