VPN router for home

At home I have a fibre connection (300Mbps) arriving to my supplier's router that goes into an unmanaged gigabit switch that feeds the entire home. At several points, I have some deco tplink M5 to provide WiFi mesh. However, they work as access points, not routers. Thus, my internet supplier's router does all the management. It doesn't support vpn though and I can't change it.

I have a vpn subscription and now the apps are installed on each device. I usually get 150-160 Mbps when speedtesting, even if I have multiple devices downloading.

I want to buy a vpn router to put between my supplier's router and the unmanaged switch to make all the house connected through the vpn. However, I'm lost on which router to get that will still give me an acceptable speed. The router suggested by my vpn supplier sais "up to 100Mbps" overall , which is much less that the 150-160 that I get on each device.

Also, I don't mind if the router has WiFi since I'll disable it anyway (the network cabinet is in the basement).

Any suggestions? Something I'm missing?
