Life span of Hagrid’s?

We just got done with our first trip to USO and was able to ride Hagrid’s 3 times across our 3 day trip. We noticed Hagrid’s having some issues, with it getting delayed multiple times per day. It got me wondering, with how complicated this ride is how long do you think it will last in the park before needing major refurbishment or breaking down so often it’s not worth running anymore?

When we rode last night, I’m not sure if the trains were getting stuck or if they were running too many trains at once, but the ride was super choppy with frequent stops to wait for trains to clear certain areas. For example, the loading zone platform stopped for every train coming through before the ride continued. We also got stopped in the hallway before the drop area. I still enjoyed the ride, but it just didn’t feel like a smooth and continuous journey, since the audio continued while we were stopped.

Overall we still had a great time and I hope this ride has many years to come because I think it’s fantastic! I was just curious to see if anyone else has thoughts about this.
