How did you get into Ultrakill?

I’ll tell mine:

I was in my Media class and me and my friends were discussing making a Roblox game similar to TF2/Marvel Rivals, but all the characters and maps were a from our inside jokes. One of my buddies suggested having a serious character within the bunch, so on a total whim, I said “I dunno, Gabriel from Ultrakill or smth” and ran with it. When I was searching for movesets for the Gabriel role, I found myself reading his lore, and I really liked, so then I started watching some Ultrakill lore analysis videos, and then bing bong now I’m a certified Ultrakiller.
