Popeyes won't accept orders after 2pm??

Has anyone else had this experience with any other restaurant before? I got in, asked for the order and said they didn't accepted any order after 2pm (as if we had a way know that 😮‍💨) and I should go ahead and cancel?? The clerk also said "sorry for the inconvenience" with a bad attitude. I just reported that the restaurant was closed (which I got hit with a cancelation as if it was my fault) and was done with it.
