What happens if my Green Card (AOS) gets approved when I am traveling to my home country.

I am currently on an H1B visa with my Adjustment of Status (AOS/i485) pending. My H1B stamp is valid until 2027, and my final action date is current. We did not apply for advance parole as we have an h1b stamp till 2027.

I need to travel to my home country and with my final action dates current, there is a possibility of my green card might get approved while I am at my home country. If my green card gets approved during my travel, my H1 status would be voided and since I won't have green card in hand, I would expect running into challenges. My questions are -What challenges should I expect while returning? Will boarding the flight be an issue? - Except not travelling (its not an option), any steps I can take to avoid potential re-entry issues?
