No EAD after biometrics

Hey guys. I always get encouraged and discouraged simultaneously when on this app. My husband just did his biometrics on Feb 4th. Now we’re just waiting for his EAD to get approved. Some people wait months and some get approved that very same day or week. It’s been only a week now but his EAD is expiring very soon and I’m struggling to find a job.

What advice would yall give? How long did you guys wait to get your EAD approved? Our case is being processed at NBC in Missouri
