I’m confused, are we supposed to be getting signatures or do we override high risk stops?
**READ FIRST** I’m going to be a seasonal driver soon and may be permanent, sorry for the questions. I asked my supervisors most things but I ask on here on things I don’t get a clear answer on. Recently in my posts I’ve asked about high risk locations as I’m still trying to understand them. I’ve been hearing mixed opinions about whither to get a signature and attempt if no one is home or to driver release the package and override. Many people are saying get the signature because people are on high risk for a reason and you’re an asshole and are going to get in trouble if you don’t. Some say just override and ALWAYS override Amazon packages because we don‘t pay claims on them. I’ve asked the supervisors at my center and some have no opinion and some say you should and some say don‘t and release. What are we actually supposed to be doing?? What’s the general rule about high risk addresses?? Also, why is UPS making high risk addresses if we can just override anyway? That makes it pointless. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks!
