Are initial misloads THAT big of a deal?

I've been preloading for about three weeks now. I'm loading well over a thousand packages a shift and yes sometimes a few, the most was seven, get misloaded. Then the supe comes with his little beeper and finds them. One supe gives me a really hard time about it. They are mostly the smalls and probably get stuck together. The supe come towards then end after Ive just busted my ass for hours and I pretty much ignore him. He told me that he wants me to yell out loud every package label that I touch so I don't forget. "A" "B" "C" etc. And today when I got to get my check he tells me it must've been misloaded. If I get them all right do I get a bonus? Or if I get them all right will they faze out his job with his beeper gun? I feel that it's pretty petty and just part of the process or is it really that big of a deal?
