Can I refuse a UPS delivery?
I signed up for a meal kit delivery service that was effected by the storms going through central US in late February. It was supposed to be delivered on Friday, 2/26, but got held up with delays (it stayed at a UPS facility in my City from 2/26 to today) and now it is out for delivery today. This food only has a delivery freshness window of 48 hours which have now passed. The company refunded me for the food, but it looks like my (spoiled) food is still coming. Am I able to refuse a UPS delivery? I'm ok with throwing it away once it gets here, and don't want to put any undue burden on UPS staff, but was wondering if you can refuse delivery. It doesn't look like an option on my tracking page.
ETA: Sorry, should mention I'm not home for this delivery, and the only thing I've found was that you can refuse delivery "if you are at home during the delivery attempt". I was hoping I could somehow pre-refuse it on the website.
