rejected in state

hi guys, i just got rejected!!!!!

3.74/4.5 for those wondering. didn’t submit any test scores. i come from moco so i was expecting the rejection as a 4.5 is the average for the county due to grade inflation. umbc is better for me anyway. tight knit community with professors who actually care. my sister who graduated from umd herself says she wishes she got rejected and just went to towson or umbc instead.

what I noticed about umd is they reeeeeaaalllly don't like accepting people with anything lower than a 3.8 uw.
