Bandit XL-5

So this unit is going to be for my Son, when the time is right we will upgrade it to make it faster and it should be arriving today, does anyone recommend anything for it? (chassis cover, shocks, anything) I try not to replace or upgrade unless something breaks/fails. Also bonus points if someone can help me make the Bandit look like RC from Toy Story since they look relatively alike.
