Where else to go when traveling to Thailand

I'm thinking of going to Thailand and wondering if there are are any airlines to use that have a good stopover option in another country. For example this year I'm going to South Korea using Korean Air and since they fly to the Philippines I was able to add that as my final destination with a 10 day stopover in Seoul. It only cost $100US more to add the Philippines. Thanks!
