After my last post

So yesterday I was diagnosed with a tic disorder, because I have a head/neck twitch, it’s been going on for over 12m, I used to have one when I was around 7 through till 11/12 where I would make a sucking sound out the corner of my mouth without realising or meaning to, but I’ve been reading what is considered a tic and somethings I thought were normal habits can apparently be tics, just wondering if any of these are considered verbal tics, first is a bit tmi but I swish spit around my mouth, I also grind my teeth and I get fragments of songs/ phrases etc stuck in my head on repeat and when I realise I’m doing it it drives me nuts, all of these it’s like the more I notice it the worse it gets. The head twitch is constant but I get times where it happens a lot, like an attack of it. Anyway can anyone correct me if I’m wrong in thinking these could also be tics (I know google isn’t always right) and let me know if any are considered verbal. After talking to family I think my dad had/has tics too, he used to do the mouth sucking sound, I don’t have anything to do with him since I was little so I have no idea if he still does any, he also used to flick his head/hair apparently. Is it inherited? Or could this be something else? I’ve been referred for blood tests and to mental health team, I’m going back to same dr in 2 weeks to talk to her about these other ‘tics’ and to ask to be referred to neurologist like you guys said I should be. Is there anything else I should do? I’ve been doing these other ‘tics’ for years now, I’m not really sure how long but I know it’s been over 8 years, TIA
