Question about Home Builders Rebate

I'm in the process of doing a major home reno that will qualify for the Home Builders Rebate of $16,000. I called one service to handle the forms/receipts and their fee is 10% of the rebate which seemed a little high to me. Maybe it's average, I don't know.

If you recommend someone offering this service at a more affordable rate, let me know.

Honestly, haven't really even looked at the forms. Is it worth the time just doing it myself? I wouldn't mind paying someone $300-$500 to handle the paperwork, but $1,600 seems a little high.
