12 points socket set deep necessity

I have full set of tekton 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch standart and deep 6 point socket set.
I need some 12 points too wrenching on my car and truck couple time a years.
Is there a need for deep 12 point socket? Is there some situation where you guy need deep 12 point socket on car/truck ?
