TikTok won’t push my videos past 500 views even with decent stats? How do I boost watch time with lipsync / Acting videos?!
So I post lip sync / acting content (and before y’all start judging me, this is the only thing that gets me follows. Trust me I’ve tried other types of content for MONTHS.)
Within my months of posting I’ve NEVER had a video reach 10,000 views. I figured it was because I was getting no followers even though I averaged 900 views and around 100 likes per post.
But now, since changing my content and getting more follows and likes with LESS views, what gives?!
My guess is it has something to do with “watch time” and “watch full video percent” but…it’s a lipsync video…? What could I possibly do to get people to watch to the end?
Other people in my niche get 200k views while posting LONGER lipsync / acting videos (15 seconds). So ik it’s possible? And while watching their videos, I don’t see anything substantial that would make people want to watch to the end?

Additional info idk if it’ll help: I usually post 7-10 second acting videos and they get an average watch time of 3.5-4.5 seconds.
