Why is TikTok auto editing my videos when I select ‘Next’ not ‘auto cut’

TikTok has all of a sudden started to automatically put sound onto my upload draft and also puts a zoom effect on any pictures included in the draft. Yet, when I attempt to remove any effect on the picture, there is no effect on the picture.

Is this happening to anyone else? It never used to do this, it would always allow me to edit my upload completely manually. Any ideas how to remove the photo effect?
