Why do people buy Buzz Rickson?

I mean the quality looks ok in person, but the prices?!? I buy and sell a lot of older militaria and the stuff I find half the time is worth maybe half of what they’re asking on their website. My jaw dropped when I saw an OG-107 Sateen Shirt for nearly $180. I find those all the time and usually sell them for about $60. I don’t see the reason why people don’t buy the real thing when it’s cheaper and some models being fairly ubiquitous. (I’ll concede that there are some really rare jackets like certain L-2s and Hook Front Deck Jackets that are near impossible to find under a certain price)
