Max Battles Cheer Question

This is a important point. When ALL your Pokémon faint, your cheer goes to ...? Example: we have 9 trainer, 2 closes teams and one extra player. When all the pokémon of this player faints his cheer Will Go to team 1 or 2? Is It random?
