Serena's Pregnancy (Episodes 1 + 2 spoiler)

I was really buying into the fan theory that Tuello was the dad. However, whatever is going on between Tuello and Serena seems to be platonic. But how could Fred father a baby after so many years? It's just baffling. I wish they had made Tuello the dad. It would make for more intense/interesting watching.
