trans experiences at temple?
hi everyone, im trans, ftm, and had a relatively bad experience due to my identity in high school. i’m considering applying to temple (next fall, i have a good work opportunity so i’ll be taking a gap year) as i’ll be moving back to philly relatively soon. if any trans people specifically can attest to the trans experience at temple, safety, inclusivity, community, i would really appreciate it. it’s kind of a make or break situation for me, i can deal with a lot, but after such a harsh and frankly soul crushing experience with my identity in high school i need to know there will be some support on my side. brutual honesty is what i’m looking for! i know there will be people who disagree with my identity everywhere and i expect that, but i’d like to know if it leans more to one side than the other.
also i’ve barely touched reddit before so please be patient lol
edit: i’m going into occupational therapy, if this can give any additional insight. i can imagine that program specifically is very inclusive so this question regards mainly SAFETY and campus life/housing.
