Am I silly for changing?

So I got about 200h so far, been playing since launch, Lars main. I only have a few hours a week with full time job, baby etc. I’ve bought Clive as I’m a big fan of FF16. Really enjoyed the little bit I’ve tried so far. Would it be silly of me to sink a lot of time into him now? Or should I stick to Lars? I’m red rank with him. What are peoples thoughts on playing more characters? Do I do myself a disservice by learning him? Thinking muscle memory etc I already have. Or do people have some smart tips on switching between them?
