Is Jack 8 a cheap character??

I recently hit Kishin with my Jack 8 and I love playing him he’s so much fun. Although all my friends constantly say he’s broken annoying or cheap. I also get messages from people online saying the same.

For reference my game play style is like…. Poke and punish, crouch mixups, power crush a lot from gamma howl and armored moves. Also some pretty damaging grabs. Am I a scrub?!?!
