Seeing More Smurfs in Tekken than any other fighting game. Why?

As the title suggest, seeing more smurfs in Tekken than any other fighting game. Talked a few buddies into the game and watched their first few matches against other beginners and 3/4 matches were against 100 tekken prowess players who had sidestepping, matchup knowledge, 10f-17f punishment, kbd, ewgf, and 100+ damage combos down. Doesn't seem right. Don't run into this problem as frequently in Street Fighter 6 or... really any other fighting game. Only concern I have is that its kinda demoralizing to my buddies who have never played a fighting game to step into the ring against someone in ranked who is obviously Fujin+ rank.
