Neo-rave production (like ko:lab, DXPE, franky-b, rave alert records)

For some reason I can’t find any tutorials on this sub-genre of hard techno specifically. I’ve given it a few shots, but I don’t come anywhere near what it’s supposed to sound like.

Does anyone know of a good sample pack that I can buy for this genre, and/or some tips on how to get so much energy into my tracks?
