Not sure if I'm cut out for public teaching.

I've been in education for a few years now. At least since mid-2022. Ive been trying to find a plcae that suited me and showed some decent respect. Even though I'm in a school where I thought the curriculum was easier, the people were nicer, and the students at least knew some form of boundaries, things have been starting to catch up with me. Students have been acting up again and all I can do is yell. I try not to all the time, but sometimes it seems like a necessity. Not to mention, the pressure to catch up with other teachers who are ahead of me in state test readiness plan.

I like what a friend of mine does. Works as a part-time college professor at two different campuses. Seems to have a pretty easy-going life. I'd want to copy what he does, since college professor in English or Education sounds like a perfect career choice for me. But I know somthing like that isn't easy to get unless I have enough experience in the field.

But I was hoping to get all my thoughts out and hear from others. Anyone?
