Am I Crazy?

Okay so long story short, I accepted a teaching job at the beginning of October that I HATE. Let’s call this school “A.” I walked into so much drama, the community is not welcoming, and it’s a new-to-me teaching style that isn’t working for me personally (Montessori).

Before that, I was subbing at a school that I absolutely loved (“B”). I took job A because I wanted a higher paycheck with benefits. However, there’s a long term sub position open at school B that they have told me is mine if I want it. I want it SO BAD. That school was so incredible and I miss it every day.

So am I crazy for wanting to leave a full time teaching job for a long term sub position? If I did go for the sub position, I would hope that a full time position opens at school B that I could apply for. If not, I am also going to take that time to upskill to get out of teaching once and for all.
