Has anyone here become a teacher with a non-teaching degree? (FL)

I have some questions. I just graduated with a BS in a non-education related field and had a change of heart, and the Florida DOE website is really confusing. I’m confused about the path to a temporary certification. 1. Do I take the Subject Area Exam in elementary education, apply for certification, and it’s all good? Then during that five year temporary certificate is when I have to take all the FTCE and FELE tests? 2. Or, do I take the Subject Area Exam, FTCE, FELE exams and THEN apply for temporary certification? 3. Also, is an educator preparation program like the ABCTE necessary? On their website they make it seem like it’s required, but they could just be trying to get another customer.
