The most OVERRATED tank of ww2 in my opinion
Char B1 bis, is in my opinion is very overrated, it what happens when you have a tank that is designed in 1920s, to fight in 1940s, Char b1 bis suffered many problems that many French tank had a one man turret, and low numbers of crew compare to the Germans, they also had problems with radios, where they either don’t worked, didn’t had them, or were given orders to not use the radios because it “could be listen to by the enemy”. The only reason why the Char B1 bis is considered a “good tank” is because of French tank captain Pierre Billotte char b1 at stonne, where he destroyed 13 Panzer III and Panzer IV, and survived 140+ hits. However this is greatly overemphasized, as Billotte was a company commander, and he was all by himself and his company no where to be seen, and his Char b1 was abandoned after the battle. The char b1 was slow and was flanked by faster Germam tanks, and had many mechanical problems, and strange design, most char b1 losses were because they broke down and had to be abandoned, or were outflanked and shot in the side and rear. Games like War Thunder make the char b1 a good tank because of it good armor and two guns, but the tank is extremely overrated, and stood no chance in WW2.
