Planning a trip to kodaikanal, suggestions please

Hi redditors,

I am planning a trip to kodaikanal with my girlfriend, Suggest me places to visit(apart from internet sensations) and activities to do. Also been searching for a decent & safe place to stay, google reviews are always mixed(first one says its awesome, second one says its completely unhygienic) If anyone been to kodai, help me out here
