People who gave themselves copper deficiency through Zinc oversupplementation, how did you overcome it?

I was taking 15mg of Zinc daily for around 6 months. That was enough to do me in. Possibly because I was also taking a lot of magnesium at the time.

My symptoms are pretty much Anemia which only responds to copper. I started improving when I took out zinc and had copper rich foods instead.

My issue is, that a month after doing this, I started getting IBS-like symptoms and hair loss. I also started becoming more sensitive to copper even in foods (I never tolerated copper supplements well). It turns out I had became Zinc deficient even despite the fact Zinc drained my copper in the first place.

I eventually settled on trying to aim for getting:

15mg Zinc

3mg Copper

Sometimes supplementing Vitamin A for Ceruloplasmin as this helped.

The issue is progress has been quite slow still. Those who have overcome their copper deficiency, is this a good approach?
