Overdone Portrait update.
I guess it's finally my turn to be the old Man shouting at clouds. Cause yall seem to really be okay with the updated character portraits.
I get updating the portraits but for suikoden 1 dont yall think they over shot it? Completely different style. The coloring for both is also brighter (could be fine), but too... clean? Simple? Victor's portrait in the trailer as an example. Massive lost to the texture and shading compared to the full art or even what can be felt from the pixilated original. Like they were upscaled and cleaned up without any further effort. I lack the proper words to describe it, but they look awkward to me.
I'm someone who wouldn't mine if they updated the sprites to eiyuden chronicles level, so I'm just trying to figure out if it's just me not liking change.
