Is there a specific year that you feel games become too advanced for reliable play on the deck?

For further clarification, when explaining the types of games I play on the deck to the non-initiated, I say:

“It’s not ideal or even useable for brand new games, but I use it to play a lot of games I never got around to in the past. Basically anything made before _____ is no problem for the deck”

Usually I say 2019; but I’m not totally sure that’s accurate.
