What is wrong with people?

Judging by today, if I were to walk into someone's house...

• You fuckers must buy toilet paper by the ROLL on a daily basis because snow is forecast and the toilet paper aisle looks like COVID madness again. Everyone must have run to the store to buy their 30-packs because apparently we're going to be snowed in until March.
• Nobody has any earthly idea how insanely easy it is to bake bread. Why is ever loaf, every bun, every rye crumb gone? You all throwing a damn toast party or grilled cheese festival? I overheard one guy in Schnucks asking the poor employee "Well are you SURE you don't have any more in the back?" Yeah MFer, we got a secret stash of the good stuff - the pumpernickel - just piled in the back waiting on closing time!
• Not even the end of civilization as we know it will get people to eat carrots apparently, because produce was wiped out except bags and bags of carrots.
• When the snow falls, the A1C levels must rise. Baking aisle for cookies and other sugary crap was cleaned out - you'd think grandma announced an emergency Thanksgiving meal taking place tonight and everyone had to bring over cookies and cake.

I hope it snows about 2 feet tonight to give the poor folks who work at Schnucks and Dierbergs a day off tomorrow.
