Reactivated!
After two weeks of being deactivated based on a false claim, I managed to get back on. Woo-hoo! (A text from Spark stated that a customer claimed some of their personal property went missing during the course of a delivery.) Thought I’d share how I did it so others can do the same:
Write to the appeals team daily at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]). This step may not yield any favorable results, but you need to use every tool you can during a deactivation. You just never know what will work. If you get a text stating they are upholding the deactivation, don’t let that stop you. Keep emailing them every day pleading your case.
Request a pre-arbitration phone conference. This is the step that got me reactivated. This is a provision in the agreement we signed that is designed to resolve issues and try and avoid arbitration. Send emails to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) explaining what happened and that you want to be reactivated and are requesting an Informal Telephonic Dispute Resolution Conference to hopefully avoid arbitration. Just the mere mention of this prompted them to reactivate me with no conference needed. They want to avoid endless conferences and arbitration as much as we do.
Arbitration. This step likely won’t be necessary, but it’s an option if all else fails.
Hope this helps anyone who has been deactivated.
