Is arcane knight skill 1 really that bad?
Hello, I'm a relatively new returning player to the game, and I'm wondering why people think arcane knight's skill 1 is bad. I just got the character, and I think that the skill is very good at room clearing and decent against any non-laser based boss (for these arcane knight can still just brute force the boss with damage).
If you can manage to get a charged melee weapon, you can basically spam the claw attack with essentially no cooldown to destroy any bullets, and deal a lot of close range damage, as well as ranged damage from the minor spells. If the timing is too hard, you can equip a laser weapon as your second weapon and enjoy essentially the same thing with a decreased firerate but easier timing.
The passive is... questionable, but technically if you just want to stand still and spam the skill to block all the bullets, I guess you can enjoy a slight damage boost from the crit rate boost. I'm not sure how practical this can be but hey, its a mechanic that you can try to make use of...
Again, I'm not entirely sure what makes arcane knight's skill 1 considered... bad? If someone can please tell me that would be great.
