Best strategy for social security benefits in the future

Hello!

I currently make around 250k a year (75k of that being through freelance work). My spouse stays at home normally helping with our kids, so she typically does not contribute to social security nor is she getting social security 'credits'. Last year was a good year freelance wise and I made around 600k so I produced a 1099 for her for the help she did for the business (~10k) to start generating credits.

My question is... would it be wise to continue paying her from the business and helping her build social security credits, or should we not do this? If it matters, we are both in our 30s so plenty of time to go - hopefully.

Thanks!
