ONLY SWEATING/DOESNT FEEL NORMAL LATELY: patient has excessive sweating, give - prescription deodorant

HEAD IS FLAKING: patient has dandruff, give - prescription shampoo

COUGHING LIKE CRAZY: go to x ray and see if it marks a spot on the chest, if it does then the patient either has - pneumonia (treated with antibiotics) - asthma (treated with inhaler)

also running a little hot: check temp in diagnostics - if has fever give anti inflammatory from pharmacy (most of the time if the patient has a fever AND a cough it’s pneumonia and not asthma)

RUNNING A LITTLE HOT/BURNING UP: patient has fever, give - anti inflammatory

if the patient does not leave and there is no physical observations, give - antibiotics (has infection) patient ALSO has red dots covering whole body, also give - skin cream (has chicken pox)

STOMACH IS UPSET: patient has upset stomach, give -antacid

BEEN EATING BAD AND JUST DOESNT FEEL RIGHT: go to lab and test everything, look for deficiency’s, if they are low in - IRON (give red meats like steak, chicken, sausage, etc) - VITAMIN A (give carrots, broccoli, tomatoes, red bell pepper, milk, or eggs) - VITAMIN B 2 (give milk, yogurt, cheese, steak, chicken) - VITAMIN B 9 (give broccoli, lettuce, cabbage) - VITAMIN B 12 (give red meats like steak, chicken, sausage, etc.) - VITAMIN C (give orange) - VITAMIN D (give salmon, mackerel, sardines) - VITAMIN E (give red bell pepper) - VITAMIN K (give broccoli, cabbage, lettuce) - CALCIUM (give milk) - MAGNESIUM (give broccoli) - PHOSPHORUS (give milk, cheese, chicken) - POTASSIUM (give bananas) - SODIUM (give potato chips, french fries) - ZINC (give red meat like steak, sausage, or cereal and milk)

note: if you do not have one of the items listed for an individual deficiency you will have to travel either to the grocery store or the gas station to get them. the patient will still be there when you get back and you can hand it to them as you usually would.

PATIENT DOESNT KNOW: Starting off check temp and blood pressure, if high - temp (give anti inflammatory) - blood pressure (give blood pressure medication)

first perform a visual observation, if there are red spots on - eye (pink eye, give eye drops) - feet (athletes foot, give skin cream) - back (rash, give skin cream) - all over body (if also complaining about cough, is measles and treat with bed rest) (if no cough, is chicken pox and treat with skin cream)

IF NOTHING, move to step two: go to x-ray room and scan for anything, if there is a box look, observe if the bone is visiby broken - if yes, it’s a broken bone, perform surgery - if no, it’s sprained, give anti-inflammatory medication

IF NOTHING, move to step three: go to cardiology and perform BPM test, if test comes back positive for - mild heart problems (give heart medication type A) - severe heart problems (perform heart surgery)

IF NOTHING, move to step four: go to the lab and perform a test on FIRST vitamins, if patient has low, - LOOK BACK AT VITAMIN GUIDE UNDER “been eating bad and just don’t feel right”

NEXT test EVERYTHING if patient has diabetes, give - insulin

NOTE: if patient stays after you give them a medication/treatment something else is wrong, continue down the list

ARM OR LEG REALLY HURTS/LIMPING: go to x-ray room and if there is a box, the patient either has a broken or sprained limb if there is or isn’t a noticeable crack: - not noticeable (sprained, needs anti inflammatory) - noticeable (broken, needs surgery) after surgery, get gurney and transport patient to recovery room to rest

note: just remember which side the injury is on if they require surgery (don’t forget it’s inverted)

TROTS: patients has diarrhea, give - anti-diarrheal

PAIN IN CHEST: first run all tests in lab, if patient has high cholesterol, give - cholesterol pills if patient still stays, perform a test in cardiology, patient will either have - mild heart problems (give heart medication type A) - severe heart problems (perform heart surgery)

if you do everything but still nothing comes up, patient has heartburn, give - proton pump inhibitor

NOTE: the reason i say run ALL tests is because you get paid extra, in this example you only actually have to run cholesterol. (plus if you do need to do any other tests in the lab for the patient this will save you the extra trip)

THROAT REALLY SORE: patient has strep, give - antibiotics

SOMETHING FEELS WRONG INSIDE OF ME: go to x-ray and scan for any foreign bodies in patient, if so - perform surgery on the area where the foreign body is - give bed rest in recovery room

BIT BY RATTLESNAKE: run toxicology, if patient is - POSITIVE FOR SNAKE BITE (give anti venom) - SHOWING NO PROBLEMS (give pain reliever)

ENDING NOTE: if you have a patient and you just can’t seem to figure out the issue or you don’t feel like dealing with it, go up to the doctor and ask to swap back spots and the patient will automatically be treated. after you can swap right back and continue!
