The interrupters are the Greta van Fleet of Ska

I think this sums up one of the common knocks against this bands music. They take so heavily from their singular influence without making it at all their own. Similarly, GVF don’t seem to have any knowledge of the blues, the way the interrupters don’t seem to have any depth of knowledge with ska. Thank you for coming to my sked talk.
