Researching DT Siver Spring, hoping for advice.
I am sure this is a redundant post but I would appreciate your feedback. My wife (62) and I (70) are considering a move to the Maryland Burbs of DC. Our daughter is expecting and we want to be nearby. She and her husband live South Dakota and 20th NE. We want to be close but not on top of them. We believe DTSS is an option, we love the urban vibe and access to the city. We would be willing to stretch the rent to $3k. Here are my questions.
- What are your primary safety concerns? On a scale of 1-10 how safe?
- Which buildings have others been happy with/ or unhappy with?
- Should we consider other areas that offer the same conveniences?
- Things about the area, positive or negative that a first-time observer might miss?
- What does it cost to park a car in a luxury building?
