CLUODY. Low 30s, snow on the way in Helena MT and MY SILVER

Well, they were pretty quiet. And cases were pretty empty when it came to silver. Some nice gold though. Posted a Pic in the group chat.

And once again I SCORED BIG. The assay round was 4 over spot, various modern sovereign coinage starting at 5 over spot. Gold is holding at between 50 and 100 over spot per ounce except numismatics and really special stuff.

They bought a random coin lot from an estate sale. And amongst the random stuff--- 2 ellis island dollars and 200.00 in 40 percent Kennedys. The 40 percent were already long gone at 7x fv. I am not alone in snapping those up any more lol.

I got the 2 ellis island for 20 each :-).

HAPPY. HAPPY. CAMPER. Below Melt or at melt on silver is gloriously happy camper. Late Christmas present!

The assay round is pristine. They had several pretty toners too, but since I know of 2 other folks in town who love the toned assays I left them. If they are there next week I will feel entitled.

Zero prospectors, zero engelhard in general, very little vintage generic, quite a few Monarch metals Silver Bucks (that for some reason have a bull elk rather than a Buck deer on them). All of the fancy stuff they ordered in for holidays went along with random stuff they never thought would go. They once again had a record breaking year.

In other random news, regular gas 2.74, diesel 3.15. A case of eggs at Costco was 16.69, at walmart 21.97. So costco it was. Chicken leg quarters are 7.95 for a 10 pound bag and sold out everywhere. A pork roast, boneless, 98 cents a pound at winco so we bought 2. Turkeys 88 cents a pound frozen.

Younger son and new daughter in law visited! We were both sick but not contagious. She is lovely! So polite. And I got a very fancy stainless steel saucepan proudly made in Canada by Canadians, a Meyer Accolade. Way fancy thing. She is Canadian. Very Canadian.

We did sightseeing as best one can in MT during a holiday week. And we got the usual lectures about how we should run the you tube channel etc Yada Yada.

My son was unusually diplomatic about this house. But dang the facial expressions and body language said a lot lol. Poor dude was horrified.

We found an amazing used bookstore in Bozeman and I got some great books.

I am feeling better now, but being sick for the first time in over 6 years really sucked rocks. On the bright side I did not have an allergic reaction to the new antibiotic and it actually worked. So yay! Now I have 3 I can take instead of two.

Currently 13 degrees and snowing all day... beautiful :-).
