SIB Lies Of P if i don't like FromSoft games?

These are the following soulslikes I've played and my opinion of them:

Bloodborne: Too few checkpoints/not enough shortcuts. Stamina is difficult to keep up with, especially since you're meant to be aggressive. Speaking of aggressive, it's hard to tell if you should make use of rallying, or back off to heal. Biggest thing is, idk where the hell i am, where I'm going, what I'm doing, always in a state of delirium. I got up to Cleric Beast and quit soon after beating him.

Elden Ring: Way too open-ended and overwhelming, has the same problem as Bloodborne where idk where the hell I'm supposed to be going. I didn't even get past the first area, got way too overwhelmed.

Sekiro: Not a traditional soulslike, but still including it. I liked it, but the parrying is way too tight, and the guy on the horse that screams his introduction took like 2 hours out of me cuz the parrying is too tight.

Nioh: Combat seemed way too complicated with all the combos and like 4 different stances. Got my ass whooped on the 2nd level, the area with the first oni. Soon as I got to the 2nd checkpoint and fought the 2nd oni, I quit.

Mortal Shell: Confusing and frustrating at worst, satisfying and fun at best. Hardening is a great concept that makes the game beginner friendly, and stamina doesn't hold you back as much as it does in other games. Simpler and less overwhelming than other games, straightforward objective, only problem is it's easy to get lost, so you have to look up a map pretty often. Stuck at the final boss.

The Surge 2: Best soulslike I've played. Plenty of shortcuts, easy to navigate, implants are a fun way to upgrade your character, I really like the sci-fi concept, the unique way of regaining health by gaining batteries is great, especially since you can heal at any time, even in the middle of combat. Dope ass cutting animations, serves as a clever way to get equipment. Parrying is satisfying and mostly easy, but the directional aspect of it and moving your block a certain way is often very awkward and janky. Just recently beat the game, looking forward to getting the DLC.

The Surge 1: Same points as the above, but no parrying. Just recently started playing it.

I've been looking for more fun and not super frustrating souls games that are relatively easy to navigate. Idrc about story, more so just the combat being satisfying, not super frustrating, not super difficult to navigate, and just overall fun. Lies Of P has stood out as one of those games, but with the price tag of $59.99, it's quite the gamble, given that i don't play very frustrating games. If it's as good as The Surge 2, I'll probably enjoy it, unless it's extremely infuriating
