Describing this show without spoiling it?

Hello everyone! First off, congratulations on the long awaited season 2. I finished this show over the summer and it’s felt like an eternity. I can’t imagine everyone else who has watched the first season when it came out.

I come with this question of how can I describe this show without spoiling it? I remember watching it the first time thinking, wtf is actually going on? A part of the reason why I loved this show so much was theorizing what was happening myself, and being woefully wrong at times as season 1 progressed. If you were to explain this show to someone who has never seen it, how would you do so without revealing details that are shared as the first season progresses?
