My video highlights from the Grand Central event

Looks like they were using the actual desk and props for this! A group of actors went on at around 4PM for about 25 minutes, doing some choreographed scenes, but they were not audible from within the cube. They did activities like the morning announcement, the ice-breaker ball game, and a mid-work group stretch. I have video of this too, if anyone is interested.

After those actors vacated the cube, Ben Stiller could be seen in the crowd, and Adam Scott, Britt Lower, and Zach Cherry appeared shortly after, all in full character.

The three of them did bits in the cube for about 45 minutes, before being joined by Tramell Tillman, and then finally Patricia Arquette.

It was super interesting to see each desk dressed according to its user, and file names were up on all the screens. I got shots of all the open files, and their completion percentages, but I have a feeling the info changed throughout the event, as the actors were sorting numbers during their scenes.

For what it’s worth, Dylan had Tumwater, Mark and Helly both had Pooskeri, and Irving had Pacoima.

Towards the end I found myself talking briefly with Dan Erickson, and I asked about progress on releasing a physical copy of The You You Are. He did give me an answer, but asked me not to share it around too publicly. If anyone is interested, I might be open to a DM or two…
