Telescope access? Astronomy groups to get in touch with?

I would very much like to see the planetary parade through a telescope and was wondering if there are any local resources for this. I realize I may need to get out of the city because of light pollution, that’s okay. I know I can see mars, Jupiter and Venus with the naked eye, but I’d like to see the outer planets.
