New Glendronach releases
This may be old news by this point but I can’t see any prior posts about it, so here goes…
New NAS releases from Glendronach have gone on sale in the UK this week.
- Ode to the Dark: PX maturation, 50.8%, £80ish
- Ode to the Embers: peated, oloroso and PX matured, 48.4%, £68ish
- Ode to the Valley: sherry and ruby port matured, 46.2%, £65ish
Prices are from Master of Malt but the Ode to the Dark is already sold out. The Brown-Forman era seems to be well and truly under way at Glendronach, complete with pretentious names and incredibly wordy descriptions! It’s not yet clear whether or not these are special releases or are going to become part of the regular lineup. Will be interested to try them when the time comes.
