ESI worked, what now?

I have a disc bulge L4 L5 which was giving me 4-5/10 pain for almost a year, after trying everything like PT, massage, chiropractor etc, I finally got an ESI two weeks ago and I feel almost no pain now. I know this is temporary relief. So I guess my question is what I should be doing now?

Can I go train as I like in the gym to improve core and glutes etc? Or should I still be doing only the exercises that were giving me relief before ESI and avoid the exercises that gave me pain? How do I know which exercise is helping or hurting if I don’t have pain now?
